Dahlia cafe au lait and night silence are my favourite combination this year. I don’t grow lots of varieties and I only grow what I love, I like to find beautiful colour palettes to create with and always prefer things slightly muted for a feeling of calm. Here I’ve used my trusty old paint tin to make a simple plonked arrangement - meaning I literally don’t arrange flowers, I just plonk them in water in the tin. It’s nice to not overthink these things.
